Chef David Pugh’s continual search for the best available fresh produce provides his inspiration and the basis of the menu at Restaurant Two. David is acclaimed for working rare and premium produce from carefully sourced suppliers. His use of classic technique combined with these fine ingredients and thoroughly modern flair are what place Restaurant Two at the forefront of contemporary Australian cuisine.

David is known for his down to earth attitude and approach to food. His love of cooking emerged at age eight when he would treat his parents to Sunday breakfast. Since then, David has worked with some of the world’s finest chefs, including a two year stint at London’s Connaught Hotel, drawing inspiration and skill from each and every encounter.

Recently appointed Queensland’s Ambassador Chef, confirms David’s commitment to Queensland produce and suppliers.

Rowena Muller heads up the Two Team with a passion for the ultimate in food experiences.

With over 14 years experience in the industry Rowena’s focus on customer service and overall dedication to the service industry is something to aspire to.  Growing up surrounded by acres of organic produce in the Heart of Golburn Valley, Rowena’s love of sharing good food and wine with friends and family was a natural progression into the fine dining world.  Having worked extensively throughout Australia has elevated Rowena’s knowledge of Australian food and wine and this show’s in her day to day search for the best of the best in the country. 

Jade Thompson brings her vibrancy and passion for events to the Two venue. For any occasion whether it’s a private dinner, cocktail party or your wedding reception, Jade will liase with you in the lead up to the event to ensure a personalised service, making the occasion just right for you.

Jade began organising from a young age where she would coordinate birthday’s and gatherings for family and friends, later moving into the Hospitality field. Having managed events in Italy and the UK and spending the past 4 years at the Sofitel Brisbane Central, Jade thrives on creating memorable celebrations and intimate occasions bringing a new dimension to Restaurant Two Events.
